I was there for JrHgh and Hgh.
Hated it. A bunch of preppy golf slacks pennies stuck into their penny loafer conservative fucks.

It didn't help much that I showed up with my Jimi Hendrix T-shirt, hair down to my ass and a typical L.A. suburban attitude.

I moved here for a job... I like it so far. Work is good, people are nice... I live in the woods and enjoy peace and quite. I spend some time in downtown Raleigh and I think it is ok. The Moore's Square (I think that's what it is called) could need some more attention.
Never been to Greensboro.
The coast is beautiful. I would move there right away but the real estate costs are insane.

N.C. has it's ups and downs like anyplace in the world.

I was there back in....hmmm....let's see......I think 1975 to 1982.
Those days, people were very closed minded and into their own ways.
Wonder if it has changed at all.

Lots of greenery, hot as hell and nice beaches.
My parents had some land near Cherry Beach with a mobile placed on it.
I think dad sold it, amongst the other bad business choices of his.
If he had kept it, it would have been a gold mine as well as my vacation house.

I used to live further south and got used to the heat... Yes, it gets pretty hot here... but that's why they call it summer.... LOL.... One of the big issues we are dealing with here is a drought... according to the news the lakes will be dry at any minute now.

Yeah... that really sucks... Everybody wants to spend time at the coast.
