      Corporate Capitalism

Once upon a time, long long ago, the US was a capatilist system but it has changed into Corporate facism.

Anything to do with capitalism has been violated by corporate power from buying off politicians, re-writing laws, 20% not paying corporate income taxes, state media control and corporate education.

You can no longer challenge corporations in Washington because they own the Capital.

There is nothing you can do to fight it, so it's best to accept it.
Continue being the consumer animal that you are and lead a life of blind ignorance and never never question authority.

If I could be bothered changing a few words, it would be appropriate to China.
      Lets swap "capitalism" for "communism."
Swap "Washington" for the entire Chinese nation.
      etc etc
So why the fuck is America so different from other countries and singled out?

Long long ago China was once a communist country but has now embraced Capitalism from a slightly different stance known as "out right bribery, pollution and little respect for the poor of its people".
Anybody still making references to China being Communist in the pure since with images from the 1950's clearly has not idea what they are talking about because you have not seen with your own eyes.

Take my word for it: China is as much a communist nation as Switzerland is a pro war mongering one.

No, i think buddah is right, its more of a capitalist society. It's just one with absolutely no buisness ethics at all. Part of the problem in america is we are remaining ethical while country's like china, korea, afraica, and so on and so forth are not. This is costing the US alot of money. Infact where we ARE NOT being ethicial is outsourcing jobs, which enable these country's to keep in line with just that.

I think china is likely to collapse on itself with these practices. Especially if the US falls, alot of the bribes in china will stop, alot of the buisness that are funded by the US will close down or be pulled out. Since china has a VERY cut throat market, it will cause some major bad things. Though i'm not saying all of china is heavily dependent on the US, but i believe alot of Key buisness's either are, or have american influences, or members on their boards that will undoubtly colapse.

You've come up with some good points.

The U.S. is deeply in debt and China has a lot invested such as U.S. Treasury bonds.
The dollar is declining relative to the euro and they could have made better investments elsewhere, so China is propping up the U.S. economy because the U.S. is a major market.
Maybe at some time, they will cash in those bonds, because now they are losing money on holding U.S. currency.

I don't think china is proping up the US in any way. I think China is syphoning off the US and other country's in unethical practices. Though your right the US is in debt. I haven't read anything of china investing in US bonds as a country. Though if the US collapses, about 30-40% of china's markets will go poof as well. In the past it wasn't such a bad thing. Now however... they have to large a population to take a hit like that.

Thinking and knowing are not the same.
If you have not read about it, that does NOT mean I am incorrect. I suggest you get to cracking open the books or links or googling or whatever it takes.

If China decides to cash in, big big trouble for both countries, especially the U.S.

Yep. This is true. China's gonna dump the dollar anyhow. It's not what it used to be.

Yes, and on top of that, oil pricing my go with the euro, replacing the dollar.

As Americans, you don't have to purchase the international currency because yours IS the international currency. When adjusting the dollar to other currencies, the U.S. Treasury Department can make some profit.

The implications of using another currency can have a big effect on the U.S. economy, maybe harmful at that.
U.S. is still a powerful society.

I doubt the US could honestly handle a change in currency. The problem is though we steadly lose value, to many currency's fluxuate. say the rupy or the yen. When playing the stock market on the global scale, things like that arn't very steady. Basing it on gold was a wise choice, but still isnt that steady over all.
