It's 9am here and in 4 hours I found out if Spot is missing its penis, as I hope it is :p
Yes, Prick. I made a BABY thread!

Yes, indeed. :) I've already got one firehouse to wrangle in, constantly... I don't want two.
I'm not sure if this is just a boy thing or not, but it drives me nuts. He always has this need to sleep with one hand shoved in his diaper, holding his wang. Then, he'll want to stretch or scratch and itch, and when he pulls his hand out, the firehouse peeps out the top of the diaper and the next time he pees, it shoots everywhere.
..btw, we cosleep.
Hehe, though it does have its benefits. One time, he had such good aim that he managed to ONLY spray my husband's face and pillow. *snicker*

Yep, he's super healthy... but still is a "he". The only real reasons that it bothers me are...
- I won't be able to buy/get cute girlie stuff or put *my* baby dress on either of my kids.
- The below (or above if you do your preferences all stupid-like) listed "hose" issues
- potty training is a bitch with boys
As for crap like barbies and whatever, I don't care about that. I was (and still am) a total tomboy. I much preferred to splash around in puddles, play in the mud, and play WWIII with my brother's GI Joe's.... so I assume that if I had a girl, that's what she'd be like too.
Anyways, he weighs about 10 oz. right now and is breech atm.

I'm 20 weeks today, so sort of 5 months, though I *look* like I'm somewhere around 7 months for some strange reason. Maybe because I haven't gained much weight? Hehe, I'm now the same weight that I was when I was 5 weeks pregnant with my first.
So, I'm not very far along. Elehu's (yes, I've already named it) weight is good for this stage :)

Eagan and Elehu. Such wonderful names, wouldn't you agree? :p

Oh, oops. Yes, the gender is certain. It's easier to confuse a boy for a girl than a girl for a boy. We saw the little nub several times.

Hahahaha... Can't count on that, though. I knew a chick who assumed the same, and had herself the girliest of girls. I'm talking: wore nothing but pink, squealed when she got a speck of dirt on her shoes, begged for every damn doll that came out on the market, wanted all the latest stuff from all the boy bands, etc. Yick.
Consider yourself blessed. At least you can hand-me-down some of the baby clothes to the younger sib.

Yeah.. that would drive me nuts. Kids are supposed to get dirty when they play. That's the whole fun of it.
True, but it's a little depressing at the same time. I kept all of Eagan's old baby clothes just in case we ended up in this situation, but I don't really want to put his clothes on another baby. I wanted that baby to have its own special set of stuff. Yeah, I know... that's really dumb, but that's what I wanted. Oh well, though. The best I can hope for now is that they'll at least *look* different, hehe.

Blah. I'm very talkative today... :o

Congrats to the new family member. :)
Nice to read how excited you are. What did your kids say?
I thought my little brother was a doll when my mom showed him to me for the first time (I was 2.5 years old).
Years later.... I tried to sell him... but couldn't find a buyer... weird

Re: The not hello thread
I have one child. He's 15 months and said "da da da ba boo ka!" I think that was, "Yay, a brother."
I thought mine was ugly. I was 5 when he was born, and we all thought he'd be cute. Nope. He came out with really long hair around the sides of his head and none on the top, had a HUGE pug face, and no ass, but lots of skin for it... so it just sort of sagged and grouped together.
