I wouldnt say so since in areas where the rules are established and integrated, the general population apply the rules equally towards themselves, as in both Norway and Denmark.

The Jante law is not an actual law. It is a social mentality or dark cultural code that has been passed down through generations with its origin from egalitarianism and communism. It was first written about in 1933 by Aksel Sandemose in his novel.

You know, if you had rephrased that a bit I wouldnt have gone to figure out where it's assumed that "The Jante law" have roots in communism.

If you had taken out parts of that I wouldnt be hella confused over why you dragged out obvious conclusions like "The Jante law is not an actual law."

If you just had tweaked it a tiiiiny bit, I would not figure out, through one of the first search results from google, that the above quote is an direct copy paste from the American Democratic Party.

This is enlightment. The thing is if you force then on people who haven't reached that, it becomes brain washing. Part of enlightenment is giving up a sense of self. It's losing the ego. That can't be accomplished by simply wishing it goes.

So basicly if your enlightened, this just displays the characteristics. If your the normal average person this is a path to humilation, destruction, self hate, and self doubt. Mainly because to gain enlightenment you have to realize your self worth, then freely give it up in the understanding that its everyones self worth. Otherwise you basicly feel like MC, and go through the motions.

The rules mentioned are exclusive to others.
I would say that it would apply to something like the military or as Sev said, some pirate groups manifesto.

Should it apply? Sure, if you're a pirate or in some inclusive group that demands this kind of discipline to operate.

I interpret it as being inclusive for the group at large.
Maybe Pythagorean or early Greek as you mentioned. Lots of secret societies such as Pythagoras or Persian Mithra would use this kind of pledge.

The wealth is distributed (food, utilities,clothing etc) where it's needed and the members work at home for no salary because they generally want to and are happy to do so for the good of the family.
