iphone and the Gphone

I've been checking out a few shops out here for the iphone.
Cost is about HK$3880 for the 8gb ( divide by US$7.9 ) . Another HK$1000 for the 16gb.
Was told that it has to be unlocked, because ATT has their hands in the cookie jar as well.

I also heard that late this year Google will be coming out with a phone called the gphone.
Anybody heard of this yet?

Kinda. I was going to get the Iphone, but I heard its not all that great. I heard of the Gphone, however, I also read that it's not true. I dont know, though. I wouldn't purchase it anyway.

My phone sucks ass. It's a shitty oyster from a gay ass company. It was free, my plans like 30-40 bucks or some shit. I never saw a point in paying like over 1k a year on a phone. I might upgrade to do the pic thing but ya know what, fuck that shit. I dont need to surf the web on my phone, idont need it to calculate pie while i'm taking a piss, or have it surve me coffie. I love technology, but when its pointless, i think its stupid. Iphone is basicly that, stupid. Gphone is the same. Who the fuck needs all that shit in something that prioprirtory that if you lose your totally fucked. Sure if it was 100 bucks no problem, but come on, it costs like 700 bucks or more then 100 a month to get anything decent.

googles phone isnt out yet. i havnt heard anything about it since a stock report a few months back.

iphone is alot of hype, best feature? wifi. worst feature? breaks when you drop it. btw, no warranty - gettin a new iphone after you break your old one gives you a small discount.
