      Profile picture problem

If you can't tell I am having a problem with my AV and profile picture. I have it set to show no profile picture and using my long time AV of the Ded. As you can see though it gives me a stretched out picture over my AV when I post. Anyone know how to fix this?

ADMIN EDIT: 10 January 2010 ... this feature will return ... @ some point.

That stretched out image is your username image, and its restricted to 220 x 60. New feature - The Swollen Cranium forums read this, and you will also find a link to a site where you can make your own UI. Hope that helps.
I'm sorry, but, you can take your can-do attitude and fuck it 'til it's raw. Can you do that? Can you?

Yeah, create a user album and store your image there that way there will be no loading issues that are commonly caused by image shack.

Also, as skeeter said regardless of your pic dimension it will auto size down to the proper size to fit into that area.

So if your pic is huge or an odd size difference between height and width then it will almost certainly be pixel distorted.

Best practice is to use a pic that is clearly definable in the 250 x 100 range.

Ok I followed Skeeters link and read the post. I went to the settings section Cranium disussed but I do not have an option to use a picture as my username. The section where that is has nothing more then a blank line and nothing you can click on or type into. Any suggestions?

      Funny

I'm not your woman, your family or your dog. I don't bring you a beer, drink or food. Can I be all that important?...

      Fixed.

Usercp ----> Edit your details ---->scroll down to bottom and add the pic URL into the text box.

As said before, best practice is use a user album to store your pic.

Thank you Sir. Problem is fixed as you can see. Job well done. I'll make sure next time I see you I'll buy you a beer.

Edit:I feel like a new man now. Thanks again for all the help.
