      MJ death ruled homicide

      Michael Jackson murdered!

Michael Jackson's death has been ruled a homicide - and the evidence points to his doctor.

Eight weeks after the King of Pop died, a detective's affidavit revealed Monday what had long been suspected - that the doc gave Jackson "lethal levels" of the dangerous anesthetic drug Propofol.

Jackson's doctor Conrad Murray, who has been the chief target of a manslaughter investigation into his death, has not been charged.

The homicide ruling by the Los Angeles County coroner makes it likely that Murray could soon face charges.

The affidavit included Murray's admission to cops that he plied the superstar with an array of powerful sedatives in the hours before his death.

"I'm surprised by the number of admissions [Murray] eventually made, putting himself right there, administering Propofol for many, many nights in a row," said Vesna Maras, a former L.A. County deputy district attorney who prosecuted two local nurses in 2004 for using Propofol.

Maras said it was especially shocking that Murray, as revealed in the affidavit, said nothing to the emergency room doctors about giving Jackson Propofol.

The affidavit from LAPD Detective Orlando Martinez, which was included in the search warrant for Murray's offices in Houston and Las Vegas last month, reveals new details about Jackson's last restless night - and what happened after Murray discovered he had stopped breathing.

The document also notes that some of the first people Murray called after the singer died were Jackson's oldest son, 12-year-old Prince Michael, and an aide, Michael Emir Williams.

Murray's attorney Ed Chernoff said in a statement that much of the affidavit was "police theory ... the time line reported by law enforcement was not obtained through interviews with Dr. Murray, as was implied by the affidavit."

He said Murray never told cops he found Jackson not breathing at 11 a.m. or waited just 10 minutes after administering Propofol before leaving to attend to personal business. In fact, Murray never told cops he left Jackson's side to make personal phone calls, the attorney said.

      The affidavit revealed:

      - Murray treated Jackson for insomnia for six weeks and admitted giving him nightly intravenous doses of 50 milligrams of Propofol.

      - Jackson, 50, had been given Propofol by other doctors and referred to it as "milk."

      - Jackson had also taken lidocaine, which he referred to as "anti-burn" and is a drug used to restore heart rhythms.

      - Jackson was prescribed drugs under various aliases ranging from Jack London to Bryan Singleton and had meds he used prescribed to members of his entourage.

Murray, in the affidavit, claimed he feared Jackson was getting hooked on Propofol so he began lowering the dosage and mixing in other powerful sedatives like Lorazepam and Midazolam.

Two days before Jackson's death on June 25, the doctor gave the singer only the substitute sedatives, he insisted.

On the day Jackson collapsed and died, Murray first gave Jackson Valium at 1:30 a.m. When that didn't work, the doctor said, he injected Lorazepam intravenously at 2 a.m.

Within an hour, Jackson was still awake, so Murray said he gave him Midazolam.

      Still, Jackson could not sleep.

And over the next hours, Murray said, he plied the singer with various other sedatives.

Finally, at 10:40 a.m., Murray caved in after Jackson asked for the "milk."

      And Jackson was doomed.

Once the pop star was asleep, Murray told investigators he left "to go to the rest room" and said he left Jackson alone for "two minutes maximum," according to the document.

Murray has insisted - ever since Jackson was found unconscious at his rented Los Angeles mansion - that he did nothing wrong. In a video last week, he said he "told the truth and I have faith the truth will prevail."

Negligent behavior on the doctors part, indeed. But homicide? Jesus fuck, this guy was a junkie! I don't give a fuck if he could sing or not, he headed down this road on his own. Using assumed names and having his entourage prescribed the pills he was popping, he got what was coming to him. He is now an example of how NOT to handle things.

SlimFuckingSkeeter = new fucking Sucker ...fuckers.

Jackson is/was mega creepy. When news he'd died hit the airwaves, I thought "Finally!"

The doc did Jackson and the rest of the world a favor.

I don't this it was murder per say..bad judgment yes, but i don't think the doctor intended to kill him.
It was probably just a case of Jackson thinking he could take more than he can handle, and the doctor being weak, obliged him because he didn't want to get fired.

That's like trying to hold the gun industry responsible for Cobain's death.

      Jackson wanted the shit.
It just took a doctor to get what he wanted.

It's obvious, by his tolerance to the drugs and amounts of each, that he was a doper.
Why it's called homicide and not OD I'm not sure. Except for the fact that someone else was administering the shit?
If that's the case, I couldn't be happier. Maybe now the docs of the rest of the Hollywood dope head society will back away and more drug abusers will keel over.

We need some fresh faces anyway.

Murder? No .... more likely manslughter if that.... The state is going to spend millions of dollers prosectuting this docter for giving a "junkie" high end legal dope for a manslughter convection at best but more than likly gross negligence in which the docter will loose is license and probably get probation..... sounds like justice to me

You should think about adding a rimshot sound effect.

Otherwise, I am kind of surprised to not see a directly dissenting opinion here yet. I suppose that its only been a few hours and all, but I was sure someone would speak up in defense of old MJ.

The Doctor is certainly legally and ethically accountable for his actions. Unless he deliberately "murdered" MJ then he will face lesser charges and lose his practising certicate.
I wonder if it will be the same cops covering his death as the ones who hounded him for being a pedo?
Regardless, the world will now be a safer place with one less pedo/junkie around.

      couldn't have said it better
It is a waste to consider this more than gross negligence.
