Obama's speaks
I was listening to the youtube speach of Obama's a few days ago. Basicly his paster said some shitty things, and everyone went after Obama, saying he must believe them as well. What i noticed was that any politation i've hear in the last 2 decades would do the same thing. Which of course involved discrediting and disassociating with the paster. Basicly saying the paster was full of shit, i condeem him, and i never liked him anyways. Mainly to save political face. What I heard was basicly the paster was a retard for saying it, but was still a good guy. And then a call to bring america together, and he even talked about how political correctness was retarded as well. Your thoughts?

Re: Obama's speaks
I've been a registered voter for 31 years and I can honestly say that
IMHO,at the basic level there is NO difference between ANY candidate.
I've given up on trying to find a platform in which to base my vote upon.
Therefore I intend to vote for the ONLY clear cut difference.
McCain is a fucking nut case, Hillary is a fucking fascist, Obama is a noob ... hell the fucking Congress is where the real power is anyway.
Fuck em ... Obama for prez !!
( NOTE: I voted Libertarian. )

Re: Obama's speaks
I think thats what i liked about him myself. He's not the typical bullshiter. He may be a bullshiter, but i agree. I'm pretty fucking sick of our canadates litterly agreeing with shit just to get elected. Hillary has switch hit more then brian warner on stage. McCain just doesn't seem real sturdy as is. Obama seems to be the type that knows who he is, and who he is doesn't change as a person or a canadate. I hate to say it but i think he actually has integrety. Though i look forward to BBQ Ribs on the white house lawn, and cousin rayray stopin in with beats blaring to ask Obama if he can get him a job cause he totally knocked up laquesha

Re: Obama's speaks
Mike Huckabee lost. Mainly because he's a religiously lobotomized holy-man dick sucker and most people (as religious as this country still is) realize that the church probably shouldn't be put in charge of a country anymore, what with all the beheadings and holy wars and such. Deal with it you fucking southern dipshit.
EDIT: Oh, and on a personal note...I'm reasonably sure that the guy you just called a traitor has done more for this country than anyone in your entire banjo-band family has done. I've done more than anyone in your toothless hee-haw clan has done and what's he's done makes me look like a fucking draft dodger. So I'm sure you can just imagine where your opinion on this topic falls. In short, STFU redneck retard.Last edited by Polar Bear; 03-27-2008 at 07:58 AM.

Re: Obama's speaks
Your right, Obama is a damn good speaker. The fact is anyone can give a great speech. It was written and rehearsed.
For 20 years he has been sitting under a racist paster. That means he endorses what that paster is saying. Have you herd the racist shit that has come out of that bastards mouth? And talk about anti-American.OMG. That preacher bashed America all the time and called us the KKK. Obama has been listening to that shit for 20 years and you want to put him in office? He doesn't deserve to sit in that chair.
But, I'm a little patriotic what do I know."Treat everyone with dignity and respect....but always be prepared to shoot 'em!"

Re: Obama's speaks
So your entire platform of hating him is ...guilt by association? Thats pathetic. Lets not forget that the last pope, the guy who stoped countless wars, was in the hitler youth group as a kid. Look at arnold swartzenager, he's parents where nazi's. Look at his policy's! Look how much he has pushed for better schools for the blacks, and mexicians. How many of us as people have raciest mother fuckers in our family? Does that make us raciest? Do we believe any of that shit?

Re: Obama's speaks
I'd say it's more along the lines of guilt by APPRECIATION.
Others have walked out of his church because of this guys teachings.
Yet Obama says nothing to distance himself from the rhetoric.
This quote sums it up well.
http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepu...edlets264.htmlObama didn't take pastor to task
Mar. 26, 2008 12:00 AM
Regarding \"Obama's shining moment\" (Editorial, Wednesday):
The editorial about Barack Obama's speech on racism loses sight of the fact that Obama addresses the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. as someone like family.
Most people with religion consider their pastor, priest or rabbi as someone they look up to. When there is a doubt of this magnitude that he is looking up to an anti-American racist, I think you have stepped out of bounds by saying that this was a fearless speech.
A fearless speech would have been Obama denouncing the pastor's anti-American, anti-White remarks. A fearless person would have stood up and said, \"I cannot associate with somebody who has these beliefs against America.\"
He skirted the issue, and the polls are starting to show Obama's lack of judgment, which is not acceptable for anybody with presidential ambitions.
Can you just imagine a white guy running for the presidency while attending KKK rallies?
Though, they really can't be considered anti-American, they are just as racist.
Oh wait..
I seem to remember the name David Duke. His presidential bid was thwarted when it came out he was a racist as well. Twice.
He even left the Klan. He did form the NAAWP which, what a shocker here, outraged the NAACP.
To even insinuate association as an excuse is weak. Just because he, himself, did not say the offensive remarks does not mean he doesn't hold those ideals.
He has been and is STILL a member of the church where these outrageous lines of thinking are taught and has YET to condemn them.
You know you want one.

Re: Obama's speaks
I think that article is retarded. It's basicly saying don't listen to people if they don't believe the same thing you believe. How many times have you listened or read something from something that you didn't agree with their beliefs, but gained knowledge from it? George Washinton loved slavery. So do we ignore his words about america? I would like to see how many people walk out of a buisness meeting because they don't agree with there co-worker cause he's fucking the secretary. It sounded to me like the guy had alot of good things to say and alot of things to ignore. If that was the case, i would listen to the good things and ignore the bad things. The one thing that impressed me most was that Obama didnt just say the paster was a raciest asshole. He basicly said the guy was human. That he had some flaws, but he still was a good guy.
To me it means he's not fronting like everyone else has always been. Where they are one peson as a president, but are another when they are home. Because what always happens is when you run the office as a poster board for your contributors instead of running it as a person, you only make policy's for those contributors, and not the good of the country. *cough* haliburton and george bush *cough*Don't sweat the small stuff, and ya know what? Re: Obama's speaks
You can read, I'm reasonably sure, but you don't seem to have much in the way of comprehension.
The article had nothing to do with who to listen to.
What it was talking about was the fact that Obama has ambitions for the presidency yet doesn't condemn the anti AMERICA and anti WHITE rhetoric spoken by the man he chooses to listen to on a REGULAR BASIS in order to show he doesn't feel that way. If it's true that he can absorb what he wants and discounts the rest ....don't you think he'd say something if there were something he didn't agree with? Apparently he hasn't heard anything he doesn't agree with yet.
As far as a business meeting or what ever other weak likeness you choose to use....
This {attending the church on a REGULAR BASIS} is far different.
He chooses to stay there.
Churches are institutions that are supposed to instill morality and life guiding lessons.
It's not as if he's at a function where ONE of the members says something objectionable and he can't leave.
He goes KNOWING who's going to speak and the slant of the message, what ever it may be.
So, yeah...
Like I said before, can you imagine the utter outrage that would be going on if this situation were reversed; if this were a white man attending a church spouting anti black messages?
I mean, fuck. Hillary, the media et al can't even mention the fact that he's a black man without him pulling the race card.
Oh....and don't even mention the fact that his middle name is Hussein on the air.
He'll lose his fucking mind.........again.
You know you want one.

Re: Obama's speaks
I have to admit I hadn't seen his speech until just now.
I was left unimpressed. His speech started and remained solely about racism in the US and the down trodden life it leads to for black Americans. Yet, there stands a black man running for President and doing rather well.
Unless I'm mistaken, there are as many opportunities for people of ALL color in this country and LAWS made to ensure that this remains the case.
He went on to say that the whole candidacy has been racially charged.
“Against all predictions to the contrary, we saw how hungry the American people were for this message of unity. Despite the temptation to view my candidacy through a purely racial lens, we won commanding victories in states with some of the whitest populations in the country. In South Carolina, where the Confederate flag still flies, we built a powerful coalition of African-Americans and white Americans.” ~ Obama
He even pointed out Geraldine Ferraro as one of the perpetrators of denigrating him because of his race.
“If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman of any color, he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept.” ~G.Ferraro
I don't see how that statement can in any way be construed as racist. Race related maybe but definitely not racist. In order to bow down to those playing the race card, she stepped down from her post on Clinton's campaign.
In an interview, Ms. Ferraro defended her comments and said she was furious with the Obama campaign, accusing it of twisting her words.
“Every time that campaign is upset about something, they call it racist,” she said. “I will not be discriminated against because I’m white."
Gotta give him credit for being a master of spin though:
“The comments that have been made and the issues that have surfaced over the last few weeks reflect the complexities of race in this country that we’ve never really worked through — a part of our union that we have not yet made perfect,” ~ Obama
The only situation I'm aware of that has had anything to do with being racial, so far, has been Wright and his racist spoutings.
As far as not tossing Wright away...
Obama's trying to straddle the fence.
He at once says his statements were divisive and wrong then says he is a good and just man by naming off all the good deeds he's done for people . He condemns him but looks up to him. He doesn't like what the guy says but he likes and respects his teachings.
Sounds like a typical politician.
In short, all he was doing was damage control. He played down what Wright said as controversial. Not racist mind you, controversial. As a matter of fact, his white grandmother made him "cringe" because she said she was scared of black men but his pastors blatant racial statements he only disagreed with.
Don't get me wrong. I don't dislike the guy, just the way he's handling himself.
I guess I'm just getting sick of some races getting to play the race card and speak with immunity while white people dare not even mention the color of another persons skin for fear of being labeled a racist.
You know you want one.

Re: Obama's speaks
*sigh*
Who the fuck cares if he IS or ISN'T racist? What's he really going to do that will be so harmful based on that "fact" alone? How many white politicians are racist? How many of them do a damn good job?
What matters is what his platform is and whether or not he'll stick to it. Whether you like him or not, that's the only thing that really and truly matters.
