Never mind the song (which, incidentally, I find fun because Boss of Me likes it and, well, yes, we dance and I'm always the one singing the blokey bit).

Does nobody find the dolls themselves slightly offensive? Should our kids be bombarded from such a young age with images of a 'perfect figure'? Let's face it, if Barbie was a real person she would just keep falling over.

And it's not just the dolls. The DVDs and TV shows are all over the fucking place.

For her last school photo, BoM wanted to know why she couldn't strike a pose like *this*.

I had to giggle when i read this post, too funny. At a local gentlemans club whic i frequent there was a dancer by the name of Charisma that ehh looked like a "barbie" she went as far as getting a boob job and well he first night dancing with her new boobies, Charisma descided that the "Barbie Girl" song was to be her new theme song. Well all energetic and hyped she came out and went to climb the pole and lo and behold her breast shifted, those that witnessd the scene commenced to throwing up and I myself had to laugh my ass off due to the fact that her $4500 tits were now lopsided and no chance to get them repaired. Her Barbie days were over... and evertime I hear that song I have to laugh. Everytime I see her and her lopsidedness the thought runs through my mind "life is fantastic because i am plastic" heehee life is great
