I have been a bartender for about 5 years now. I am just curious as to what recipes you guys might have. Share with us your favorite drink or some good ideas you might have....



Incredible Hulk :

1 shot Hennessy 1/2 shot of Hypnotic

Dirty Asshole:

1/2 shot of Buttershot schnapps , 1/2 shot of Rootbeer Schnapps , 1/2 shot of Jagger

Pink Pussy:
1 shot Teq. Rose , Pour a bit of Hot damn in middle. (as you desire) To much though and it is nasty!

All my recipes include Vodka lemonade. Sorry! I'm not terribly adventurous when it comes to alcohol.

Vodka, grenadine, lemonade and a slice of lime.

Vodka, Cranberry juice, orange juice and lemonade/soda water.

Vodka, Peach Schnapps, pineapple juice, and lemonade.

My personal favorite:

Flaming Dr. Pepper. (If you don't already know this drink, you should be shot!!)

Pour 12 ounces of light draft beer into pint glass...
Fill a seperate shot glass 3/4 full of Amaretto, and top off with 151.

Light the 151, drop the shot glass into the beer, and chug that shit!

Repeat 4-5 times to get sufficiently fucked up for the evening.

I've sampled everything from top to bottom shelf. I find myself partial to Fleischmann's brand. Not the cheapest, but nowhere near the most expensive. If that's not available, I'll choose Mr. Boston. It's 100 as opposed to the usual 80 proof, so you need to watch your intake or you'll wake up nude on the kitchen floor. Both get the job done nicely.

I used to make Plum wine:

Take unripe plums (still green) about 5lbs.
Wash them good and cover with salt about 1lb (sea salt).
Leave them for about 1 week pressed with heavy rock on a wooden board in a plastic bucket.

After that time, take them out, wash again, sun dry them for about two days.

Next is to put them into large glass jars with rock sugar and alcohol.
Must wait about 6 months but the longer the better. Years would be best.

Great for Winter nights.

I personally would suggest Chateauneuf du Pape. Middle range expense but high range taste.

-Line the bottom with a bit of cooked hamburger
-Salt the rim
-1/3 Bankers Club
-1/3 Vlad. Vodka
-1/3 Scotch
-Let it all soak into the burger, and drink the booze. Then scoop out the burger and eat it. Its more of a challenge then a pleasure.

I'm more a beer person myself, but when I have to make a mixed drink -

Margaritas:
Trick - use 3 parts sour mix or lime juice & triple sec for every 4 parts of tequila, and add 1 part fresca, 7up or citrus soda.

Stewarts:
1 part citrus vodka
1 part triple sec
2 parts Stewarts key lime soda

Scotch Cocktail:
Pour your favorite scotch over ice and top off with a touch of Grand Marnier

Yeah man times. Its my bassists favorite. Im not a fan. It tastes very plain. You have to start making them with monster soon though since they are taking red bull off the shelves.
