I recently bought an apartment closer to work.

It's right on a beach and 10 minutes from work and the city. When I went to the inspection I was completely blown away. Not because of the fact that outside my window are gorgeous views of the ocean and coastline, but because 3 floors below me is a brand new pub.

My liver won't make it to 22 years at this rate.

Does anyone else live dangerously close to a local drinking hole?

I did that for 8 months ... it was a wild and unholy time.

Luckily I lived through it.

Wasn't your pub also the local whorehouse? I seem to remember some sordid tales of those experiences...

The trouble with Sydney is it's in Australia.
The trouble with your pub is it'll probably sell that weak as hen's piss Australian lolly water beer.
Get some damn Kiwi Speights into you and you'll survive the experience.
Oh, and welcome to the forum.

I live six doors away from the pub.

*crawling distance*

Pfft. Who am I kidding.... I only get out a few times a year, and even then I wouldn't go to the local. See, it's a Holts house, and that stuff is fucking loony-juice.
