George Carlin died yesterday. This saddened me a little. I've seen him perform live in Vegas and it was one of the best shows I've been too. I was right next to stage for the performance and when it was done everyone gave him the standing ovation (as is customary). He came back out and took a bow and I yelled "Archibald Bearassole" the name from one of his bits that happens to be my favorite and without missing a beat he said "You asked for it fucker." (also part of the joke) and went right into the joke.

Anyway. . he was a pioneer and someone who changed political comedy for our generation.

I just heard the news this morning...

That fucking sucks. I loved George.

I really thought you meant another "George" in the title, as these news hadn't struck me yet, so now I just got downright sad.
George Carlin were, without a doubt, one of the most fantastic comedians of all time. His bit "loosing stuff" will forever be a favorite.

But on the plus side, at least he'll finally get to see the balloon room in heaven.

On topic, i LOVED him...sad thing was i knew him, i just never knew that was his name so it took me a while to figure out who you guys were talking about.

Heart problem Blood..He was one of a kind for sure.
