You may have seen the reports by now.

Just to clear a few things, it's the local government doing the cover-up, which is usually the cause of China's embarresment in the eyes of the world.

Secondly, they (local gov) tried to hide the crash by burying parts of the train, coaches of the train, dead bodies and their luggage.
Go figure.

BTW, this "entire railway industry" of China is their answer to the oil/petrol crises that is soon to come. They are building them all over and they run on electricity, that being provided in part by the largest hydroelectric damn in the world, at the 3 gorges river.

Something to think about.

A country as large and as populated as China is bound to have some shenanigans afoot at one time or another. Especially with a central government mentality.

Especially with a central government mentality.

Yes, and more is abound.

They can't admit if it was fault by:
1.Nature
2.Human error
3.System malfunction

AND

They still have not answered as to why they were trying to bury the train debris, dead victims of the crash and their belongings.

AND

Who was hushing up the press, the local or central gov, or both.

People are in a complete uproar about this and will be raising hell in the next few weeks.

This was China's pet, to show the world "that we are super duper country because we are making safe bullet trains and building up our infrastructure, so world, look at us" bullshit.
They failed. No one is impressed. If anything, they pissed a lot of people off.
