Cheers Amy, you had an awesome voice, my likes lean to metal, but i acknowledged your talent, your demons won, as someone who probably like most on this forum and world wide battle our demons daily at some level, im saddened you lost.

Another life of promise lost to drugs.

lost to drugs
GIVEN to drugs.
She was an adult and made adult decisions and reaped the results of her choices.
It was painfully and yes comically clear that she was dancing with the crack and amp for the last few years. I mean hell you can actually follow her down the rabbit hole in picture format from when she was 'recreational' to the end result of habitual dependance.

I do blame people for shit like this but I do not judge them, fact is I have dealt with addiction in my own life and I have watched those I love deal with addiction and I completely believe some people just are not strong enough to quit. Some people cant find the love they need for themselves to stop. Is this Amy's case? I do not know, I know very little about her other than a few songs and a drug habit... still I am I firm believer that this could have just as easily been me.
Thing that stuck out to me... is she is 27, long list of the famous die at this age.

GIVEN to drugs.

Sums up my thoughts.
A DJ for a local radio station made a comment on FB about it, saying "she shoulda gone to rehab" and some ass-corked jerkass said "I won't be listening to you anymore" as a response...
Dude, how do you NOT make that joke?
Besides.... As far as addictions go and "everybody has their vices" whatever.... She was a world famous musician, unless you live under a rock, and she could afford the drugs so she could for damn sure afford the rehap to get OFF the drugs. She made the choice. Peace be with her now, cuz I can't even pity her.

cuz I can't even pity her.
That's just plain mean of you.

See above.

I won't even pity my own mother for shit she did to herself knowing the risks. Why the hell should I pity someone I've never met?

Don't blame the drugs, blame the user.Weakness is not an excuse, it's weakness. She died. I didn't care about her before and I don't care about her now. I won't miss her. Her death has no impact on my life what-so-ever. I've had a few friends make the same choices as she did and they ended up the same as she did. And it's not anybody or anythings fault but their own.

An old Cherokee told his grandson, "My son, there's a battle between two wolves inside us all. One is Evil. It's anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies, and ego. The other is Good. It's joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy, and truth." The grandson thought about it and asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins?" The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
.. it always comes down to a choice.

whatever.... She was a world famous musician - she could afford the drugs so she could for damn sure afford the rehap to get OFF the drugs. She made the choice.
Pretty much what I think.
The thing with addiction is you've got to WANT to change - and she didn't.
The only person who could help her was herself.
Too bad. Great loss of talent - and that's about it.

Amy Winehouse, Kurt Cobain, Jimmi Hendrix, Ian Curtis, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin all died at 27. Justin Bieber turns 27 in 2021. Just be patient.

Another local DJ made a wise crack today, and again people got pissed. The joke went thus: "RIP Amy Winehouse, you will be deeply missed." - drug dealers
Now...lame joke aside, tell me that's not at least a little bit factual.
The responses are pretty split but some replies were...interesting.
"WOW do you people have souls? Sure she was a drug addict. So what?! She still died."
"Omg thats horrible..."
"very rude!"
Seriously, these dumbasses act like he just insulted their mother instead of some woman they have never met.

Haven't you all heard? Amy Winehouse is still alive. The forensic examiners were drawing a line around her body when she suddenly sprang to life and tried to snort it...
RIP yet another junky.

so according to news24 ..
London - Amy Winehouse was reportedly in the process of adopting a 10-year-old girl when she died.
I guess it cant be as bad as the New Zealand couple naming their twin kids Fish and Chips ..
I simply don't care. Another Celebrity death because of drugs. I'm shocked it happened now instead of 3 years ago when she started wasting away to nothing.

^^^Can't be bothered to read any of the above so don't be bothered to read my thoughts:
I'm glad she's dead. I'm a horrible person. Now can we get Lindsey Lohan, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Octomom, the Duggar family, the whole of the Jersey Shore, and all the Kardashians dead next and rid the world of them as well? Pleeeeease?

I'll take Kim's autopsied tits for US$1000 with a subtraction of $100 for each day I have to wait for delivery of my paid tits.
