When did your dad realise he was gay? I mean he obviously banged your mum, ( I assume) so there was a point in time where he was into chicks, in a manner of speaking.

He always knew he was gay, but was raised catholic, so he tried to be straight. My mom knew about this before they ever got together and she swore to "cure" him... He thought that he was just full of the devil and whatever and needed more Godliness.

Well, that didn't work out. They divorced, for quite a few reasons... and he decided to just go with what *he* wanted and not what everyone else did.

It didn't bother me. I was tagging a thread I was making and the suggestion thinger said "Josie's gay dad". I did a tag search and found it was this thread. Cracked me up. I honestly figured it was you, so bumped it.
