Garbage
Stereophonics
Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Placebo
The Eagles
R.E.M
No Doubt
The Pretty Reckless
Greenday
The Cult

Suggestions PLEEEEEEASE.

I got an Ipod shuffle for Christmas, and I want to fill it up. Sooooooo, whatcha got?

Full albums or various songs, not bothered. GO!

Sade. (http://www.sade.com/us/home/)

My #1 music since the Mid 80's.

Were I denied access to all but one artist/group, SADE would be my 1, and would leave me wanting no other.

I'm a massive fan of Cunninlynguists.
It started after I heard Beautiful girl on Myspace.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dupwpHSjADM

After that I got a hold on all their albums and mixtapes along with more music from the same label (QN5). I even have a QN5 t-shirt, a Cunninlynguist T-shirt and a Death is silent t-shirt along with a signed copy of that album, which is Kno's solo album (Kno is the white producer and rapper in the group).
The album is kinda like emo hiphop, but that approach to the genre is actually pretty fucking good.

I also once went alone to Amsterdam in the middle of the week just to catch a concert of theirs.
Cunninlynguists are in the process of releasing another album, Oneirology, and Kno have a project with Tonedeff called Chico and the Man which was supposed to be released last year and that witholds alot of anticipation.

Doesn't the "what are you listening to right now" thread kind of recommend music and singer/groups?

In a kind of sort of way?

I also have to point out, any large collection should include some Little Richard and/or Chuck Berry.

FUCK NO! That little bitch is about to hit puberty, though. Smart money buys up her albums before she winds up a broken excuse for a woman...

If you like rock, I have to recommend the first Van Halen album.

Not the one you think though, I mean this one.

It was not only good, but it is also the reason everyone thought Hagar should be in VH, and also why everyone was so disappointed.

Cause it rocked, and was the original blueprint for 80's sissymetal.
