In your opinion, what is the best airline to use?

Im flying jetblue tomorrow and I always found the crew to be nice, and never had any real issues.

However, I flew continental a few times and they were always late, and the crew was never really nice.

So in my opinion so far, it's jetblue.

What do you guys think?

Are you asking about American companies only?

I find Asain airlines to be the best.
They take their job quite seriously and therefore provide the best service.
Cathy Pacitic, Singapore Airlines, Thai and Asiana.
JAL and most Jap air companies suck. They charge way over for no justified purposes.

I find American companies to be the shittiest ever. Poor poor service and old ugly stewardess who should consider retirement.
We were once the pioneers of the skies. Somehow we lost it.

Be sure to join any mileage memberships. Those mile points to help out sooner or later.

Question:
Is a stewardess nothing more than an Air Hostess (waitress in the sky)?

The best airline I experienced was a Korean airline, I forget the name.

However, unless I'm going across an ocean, I prefer to travel in my own car.

Try Value Jet.

Ever since the header they took in the Everglades, killing everyone on board and making the plane totally disappear into a hole about the same size as the plane, they seem to be taking safety seriously.

Not well known to others, Midwest Express is like flying first class in coach. Seriously-- the best service, the best food, and the most comfortable accommodations EVER.

United and Southwest can lick my fuckin nads.

Singapore Airlines is the best I've ever flown. United aren't too bad, but you get what you pay for with the cheaper airlines like that.

Jet BLue is the highest rated airline in the US... but their service is pretty limited.

After Jetblue, they pretty much all suck.. I'd just as soon fly on southwest as delta or united.

That is not always the case. I fly Jetblue most of the time, and so far, for my cheap tickets, I have found them to be the best. The only thing I don't like is that they don't serve meals on late flights, only chips and such. But I normally bring Subway Sandwiches for me and my son, so it's not an issue really.

There's a Hooters airline.
Good food I hear.

The only airlines I've ever flown was Delta and Southwest. I hated both of them because i wanted peanuts but they gave me dry ass pretzels instead.

I Hate pretzels so I've kinda held a grudge ever since.

Although I only travle by car, or boxcar, I would accually recomend hooters air. They are not only the cheapest, but if you going to be ridin coach and drinking anyway, why not do it with hooters, wings, and hooters?

The only one I have accually experienced first hand was POL, and that was ....well a flight to poland.

I usually fly southwest. I like open seating.

Not really bothered who I fly with.... budget airlines are all the same. It's about bums-on-seats, herd 'em on, herd 'em off.

Hooters air went out of business in the spring of 06.

My main concern is that with rising energy costs, the airlines will have to make major sacrifices. I don't mean no more in-flight bag of peanuts, or free carry-on luggage service. I'm talking cutting back on key personnel such as maintenance crews. They're completely capable of risking our safety in order to keep the company afloat.

Didn't United Airlines just announce that they will no-longer be serving food for Economy classes?

Probably. Most airlines all ready did that. Jetblue offers only drinks and snacks, but as of next year, they wont offer the same snacks. It will only be Terra Blue chips and peanuts. And they don't offer free headphones anymore either.

Exactly my concern!

I may be in the minority that doesn't mind high prices for air travel. I still get a kick out of being able to be in a totally different part of the country on the same day with air travel. As common as it is for me and everyone else, I still consider it a luxury.
I never complain about not being able to carry bottled water, nail clipper, or any other personal affect I never fucking carry anyway, nor do I give a fuck about waiting 2 hours to get on a plane, or taking off my shoes for some twat that wouldn't know what C4 looks like if it was taped to his/her face.

I think anyone that complains about such trivial bullshit should watch the impacts of the 9/11 attacks again and again, and then 100 times more.

But my complete distrust in the airlines enforces my concern that with less profits will come far less safety. If we've learned anything from the tobacco companies, its that large conglomerates will kill any number of people as long as they still remain in the black.

Oh, I agree. I don't mind any of that either. I remember back in March when my son and I went to Florida, the guy in front of me threw a fit because he had to take his laptop out of the carrying case. What the hell is the big deal? I thought maybe he was late, but it turned out his flight was the same as mine which was an hour later. I gladly took mine out because I like the fact that they are being cautious. It makes me feel a little safer.

I don't think that they would compromise the safety of the travelers because of less profits. They are slowly taking away the little things, and with meals alone, saves them a lot.

Gas costs
them a lot more than food does.

I think they are capable of reducing the safety.
It's a simple matter of how they frame their thoughts. They don't think ˝If we cut expenses on flight safety, more people will probably die˝. They think more in the terms of ˝How many times do those grease monkeys actually find something wrong with the planes? I think it's worth deleting their jobs.˝

Well if they do let go of those who inspect the planes, then that's when I'll stop flying. However, I think before they do that, they will try everything else first.
