Time To Take Down The Gov't Bird Feeder?

I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed. What a beauty of a bird feeder it was, as I filled it lovingly with seed. Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food.


But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue.


Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the table ..
everywhere!


Then some of the birds turned mean. They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket.


And others birds were boisterous and loud. They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night and demanded that I fill it when it got low on food.


After a while, I couldn’t even sit on my own back porch anymore. So I took down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone. I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the patio.


Soon, the back yard was like it used to be .... quiet, serene.... and no one demanding their rights to a free meal.


Now let’s see.
Our government gives out free food, subsidized housing, free medical care and free
education, and allows anyone born here to be an automatic citizen.


Then the illegals came by the tens of thousands. Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services; small apartments are housing 5 families; you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room doctor; your child’s second grade class is behind other schools because over half the class doesn’t speak English.


Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual box; I have to ‘press one ‘ to hear my bank
talk to me in English, and people waving flags other than ‘Old Glory’ are squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and free liberties.


Just my opinion, but maybe it’s time for the government to take down the bird feeder.

That's find and dandy but what the fuck happens if they do cut off funds? I find it disturbing that most people blame illegal immigrants for these issues when often its really us shitting in our own nest. For the record other than some schooling these people cant get welfare, don't apply for assistance or utilize emergency rooms unless its desperate because they're fucking paranoid they'll be deported. The biggest fucking problem is the now third and fourth generation welfare families that see the system as a way to live rather than as temporary assistance. Having wife who worked in HHS/CPS she was sad to see moms and dads bring in their 18 years olds and proudly ask for they're sign up paper work for welfare because now they could get their own check.

I think its funny in my neck of the woods we often look down on the Native Americans because this once proud hard working people now are often lazy, poor, and uneducated because they thought the government would take care of them. Well the lower income section of society is becoming more and more like that because of the same school of thought.

I think this country would be better off going back to the days of the boondoggles. People would work and do community service for that welfare check, medical care etc, cleaning ditches, streets, government buildings and lots. Its amazing how fast people will take that job at Taco Bell rather than pull weeds if they don't care for that work. Hell even take healthy men and women and train them in the military. Its not perfect but at least the service instills a sense of self pride and discipline and hopefully a work ethic. The big difference is how the lower classes think and assign value to things in their life verses those that are self supporting. Welfare has its purpose and can be a good thing when its actually used as intended as a temporary assistance but too many (non aliens) want something for nothing.

Antonovich.

Annually the cost of illegal immigration to Los Angeles County taxpayers exceeds one billion dollars, which includes $220 million for public safety, $400 million for healthcare, and $500 million in welfare and food stamps allocations, according to the news release.

"Illegal immigration continues to have a devastating impact on Los Angeles County taxpayers," Antonovich said in the statement. "The total cost for illegal immigrants to county taxpayers exceeds $1 billion a year - not including the millions of dollars for education."
