I'm just getting around to posting my intro. I came over here from FY, like many of you. I had a different name there. So far this seems like a friendlier, more "intelligent" forum. I hope I'm right.

About me:
My screen name is my profession. I am a professional geek, and have been for about 18 years.
I'm a father of four and twice divorced.
I'm an avid hockey fan. I like watching NHL games on TV, and I go to every local minor league (CHL) home game and some away games. My girlfriend gets us season tickets to the home games every year. I also like playing hockey games on PS3.
I'm a classically trained musician, but years out of practice. I studied theory and composition at the Mainz conservatory in West Germany. I played brass instruments for many years. I don't have the time or money to keep seriously into music anymore. (See above, I'm a twice divorced father of 4). Any more I just tool around and play harmonica with blues and rock bands now and again.
All in all, I'm pretty much a nerd. :D
