The Left Brain and Right Brain seems to be confusing to SOME folks.

Here is your chance to help me rename those areas.

I don't believe it is the titles that are confusing but the descriptions for them.
I suggest leaving the titles but rewording the description to something simpler, for example;

Left-Brainer; Reality and serious topics

Right-Brainer; Fantasy and General chat.

Free FireZone; NSFW and buffoonery.

The clear distinction is if it's likely to be or become NSFW Fantasy or General Chat or whatever it goes into the FreeFireZone, if it's suitable for work it goes into the Right.

My point is that Left/ Right doesn't tell me shit. And at the risk of going too far out on a limb here, I'm going to guess that it doesn't mean fuck-all to most other people either.

For that reason alone, I don't particularly like the titles for the rooms, especially when confusing the two could make me break a rule.

Fuck clever, give me simple and easy to understand. The Right/ Left brain thing reminds me of some cutesy singles bar that, instead of just putting Men and Women on the bathrooms, they put some goofy themed shit on there like "Squids' and "Barnacles" or some other equally ambiguous nonsence that sounds swell, but ultimatly results in a bunch of people hopping around doing the pee-pee dance, with confused looks on their faces....Just my two cents for what it's worth.



As for alternatives:

Just simply call the forum that has a no-hijack rule in place "Mature Discussion" and the other one "Random/ Fantasy Discussion". Of course these are just examples...I'm sure there are better ideas out there...but the idea is that it's descriptive. The best titles don't need descriptions to go with them.

Not only have you corrected virtually all the problems I had with FY and other sites, but you've been tireless in your efforts to make this place something more than just an 'over-flow' drama cache of those sites as well.
