So, last night I engaged the services of a professional design team to come up with a Swollen cranium logo / design.

Once I have the completed design done to my satisfaction and have the copy write/ registration completed I will be offering Swollen cranium 'Stuff' for sale.

Coffee cups , t-shirts, hoodies, bumper stickers etc..etc..etc ...

This was not a cheap venture but it also was NOT as expensive as I originally thought it would be.

Regardless of forum participation I will be going ahead with the 'stuff' idea and will, at the very least, be sending items to the long list of people I know around the globe.

Absinthe is my design consultant / sounding board and I'll not be offering the logo up for public approval.

She and I have already made changes to one of the 8 designs and I sent it back with our ideas about an hour ago.

When we are satisfied with it I will present it as a finished product ...


I like it, it looks good already and will look sweet on a T-shirt, but we shall see when the revised edition comes back in a day or so.

The logo is nice, had I a high level of knowledge of photoshop I most likely could have done one similar.

But the hire a designer way also takes care of he pesky legal stuff of getting the image registered and owned by me so I can sue a fucker that hijacks it.

Plus they do all the tedious work of making it scalable without losing its image quality and that is the only way to ensure consistency when I transfer it to items other than this forum header.

The logo is still under construction, I am allowed as many edits as I feel is needed, or I can completely cancel the image and go in another direction...

I do not OWN the current logo, the pic was taken from another website.

The current pic / logo would not transfer readily to multiple merchandise.

I appreciate the input but I can't please everyone, there will always be those that don't like something.... therefore the logo decision is mine.

Ok, I've finalized the logo design.

Keep in mind that I had to balance the logo to be compatible for media of all types, to include clothing, office supplies ... etc etc ...

And to keep those items at a reasonable price dictated that I keep the logo design in as few colors as possible and avoid odd angles and quirky design elements.


I am in the process of building my web-store with the available items. More info to follow on that.

The "The Swollen Cranium" and the URL will be removed for some items.

Also, the "The Swollen Cranium", URL and "Leave your stupidity at the door" will be adjusted for color when the logo is applied to items of differing colors.
