View Full Version : I almost died

This is why I have left all my old friends behind...

I had an hour an a half to kill this afternoon so one of my ex backups dropped by.

He offered to take me to pick up my van from the hospital (left earlier when picking up my mom).

I agreed thinking it would simplify everyone's life to go ahead and get it.

I did not think I would live to tell this tale.

This man drove like a maniac.

After leaving my house, we stopped for gas where he bought beer and of course drank it while driving.

A few minutes later, while sitting at a stop light, he snorted a pain pill.

Things really started to get fun then.

He road everyone's asses, slammed on brakes, and cut people off.

We almost hit someone getting on the highway.

He stopped at another store because he forgot his cigarettes.

While there he tried to pick up the cashier and got into a yelling argument with a female taxi driver.

Once we got to the hospital he "burnt" tires in the parking deck.

After dropping me off at my van he tried to talk me into blocking the view so he could attempt to steal a motorcycle.

He swore it would fit into the back of his SUV.

I declined.

The entire trip he kept asking me if I was okay and I repeatedly replied that he was scaring the fuck out of me.

He thought it was funny and although I was hysterical by the time I got out of his vehicle, it was not funny.

I guess my age is showing because this would not have fazed me in my younger years.

Well that was my excitement for the day.

(This took forever to peck out)

Nope but she has her reasons that probally stem from this kinda behavior from him or at least she thinks she knows how he acts. An ex backup? is that what they are calling it these days? lololol

It is wonderful you have a back-up (is he that wild in bed?)
It is sad you are complaining after he was so chivalrous towards you. Instead of bitching and moaning about him, you should have thanked him and given him an awesome blowjob.

...just saying

I have nothing to contribute but I felt compelled to reply to such a hilarious thread.

I expected more thought provocation from an "I almost died" thread...

In short: Lame

Typical day in the life of a REDNECK.
Really, it's not. When I said that this is something from my younger days, I meant people that I knew when I was in my twenties. This guy still randomly stops by to say hi and that's it. I do not live his lifestyle nor would I. I did not know he had a drug/alcohol problem although I did know that he drank sometimes.

The reason I am posting this is to give an update. I found out today from a friend of a friend that he was arrested on the 20th.

Frankly, it's a relief because I think about the other people on the road (such as my daughter) when idiots are out there doing this stuff. He travels regularly on the same backroads that my family and friends use... that was too scary. Hopefully, he will learn a lesson from some jail time.
